More from NZ

G'day, mates!

I am currently in Wellington, the capital of New Zealand. Stu had to get back to reality so Bill and I hopped a ferry and made our way to the North Island today. After walking a very long ways, we found a hostel with NO available beds which sucked...but luckily we quickly found a pretty rad one with beds AND zebra stripes! (and free internet - woo!)

We're hiring a car and heading up to Auckland tomorrow. We're thinking of heading up via Lake Taupo, but no real plan yet.

I can't believe I have to come home...

Time flies when you're upside down, I guess...

:(

Stu taught me to swear like a Scottsman. I found pua shells. I chased seals till they showed their teeth and scared me away. People here don't yield, they "give way." There's a total lack of wildlife in NZ - lots of sheep, though. You can buy alpaca poo and pine cones on the side of the road. We had the. Best. Burgers. Ever. in Queenstown. I've seen at least 2 hobbits and Stu caught a glimpse of some elves one morning. I got an awesome hoodie. We haven't met anybody who has seen a kiwi bird - not even the kiwis have seen kiwis. The kiwis say ten "tin" and seven "sivin." Bill and I are doing our best to perfect our accents. Mine is definitely going to be a Scottish infused kiwi and I probably just sound ridiculous, but people seem to think it is cute and I have fun trying!

I miss you all and can't wait to show you pictures and tell you stories!

Hugs and kisses!

Sweet as!
