New Zealand, Part I (in 10 minutes or less)

I'm in New Zealand!

Scottish Stu has given up on keeping track of the # of times I say that. Also, "I love New Zealand!"

I made it here with zero problems. Everything was easy-peasy (I'm talking like Stu and the kiwis without even trying!) I slept the whole flight, I barely had to walk 10 feet to change planes, I didn't get sick or have to sit next to anybody icky or stinky or creepy!

I love New Zealand!

Right now, it's 10:21 AM on Tuesday, April 15. We're at Lake Tekapo (Take-a-poo - seriously.) Stu and I slept in Bertha, his awesome van, and Bill slept in a backpacker's dorm thing and we can't find him at the moment.

I love New Zealand!!!

I don't even know what to say about it...everything has been amazing. The air feels clear and clean. The sun is warm. The nights are chilly. I've seen the sun rise on the East coast and the sunset on the West coast. There are mountains and palm trees and possums and big rocks and clear water and rocky beaches. The people are nice. They hate George Bush. Me too.

Albert & Tom - I will be in SFO for 4 hours on the 23rd - i land at 4:45, I think.
Mom- sorry, this is the first chance I've had to be on the internet!
Gramma - give Bailey lots of kisses for me!
Work mates - I love you and miss you all!!!! Tell everybody "cheers!" from Amy!
Stacy - I've only regretted leaving the umbrella once - last night, when I had to pee in the rain. I really regretted not peeing earlier more than leaving the umbrella behind, though.
Other Amy - I need your address again. There is a total lack of good postcards here, but I think I'll be able to make do.

OK, I think my time is almost up.
